Figure maker
Lou Dupont
A Las Vegas performer who built, known here through a single figure.
Dupont was a performer in Las Vegas who made figures. The one documented here came to the collection inside a job lot of ventriloquist heads, and stood out because the rest of the lot was cast fiberglass while this one is a combination of wood and plastic wood.
That is the whole of what this corpus holds on him. If you know more, we would like to hear it.
The mechanics
40 inches, with a slot jaw, one eye moving to the side, winkers and blinkers, raising eyebrows, and smoke that blows out of the ears.
Status Deceased
What we can document about Lou Dupont comes from the objects themselves. There is no biography of him in our sources, and we would rather say so than pad one out. If you know more, tell us.
