Early Life and Start in Ventriloquism

Meghan Casey was born in Denver, Colorado, on November 30, 1994, and grew up performing in the state. She began doing ventriloquism at age five, inspired by her father, who was also a ventriloquist and appears occasionally in her social media content. By age eight she was performing professionally, working the circuit of libraries, fairs, and community events common to family entertainers starting out.

As a young performer she competed in talent shows, took first place in several, and was a member of the Society of Young Magicians. She later received what she describes as the first National Scholarship awarded for excellence in ventriloquism, and became a member of both Puppeteers of America and the National Ventriloquist Society.

Career and Online Presence

Casey runs her own entertainment business, Rocky Mountain Puppets, LLC, booking shows nationwide for libraries, schools, birthday parties, corporate events, retirement homes, and comedy clubs. Her client list has included companies such as Comcast and Dish Network, along with numerous county library systems and fair boards across Colorado.

She launched a TikTok account, meghanmcasey, in March 2020, posting ventriloquism sketches featuring puppet characters including a dinosaur, a turtle, and a kangaroo. The account grew rapidly, passing millions of followers and tens of millions of likes, and became a central part of her business alongside live bookings. She has auditioned for America's Got Talent on multiple occasions.

In 2023, after years based in Colorado, Casey relocated her business to Knoxville, Tennessee, citing a growing volume of performance requests from that region while continuing to tour nationally.
